today i was excited to finally sit down and figure out if all these poem-threads i've been throwing out all year could maybe come together someday to form a cohesive poem-book
file under: sewing project completed for the store i love, home ec:::::
home ec issued a contest call for bags of all types last month--they'll be up for silent auction and the proceeds will go to breast cancer research--also if i win i get a home ec shopping spree! anyway it was really fun to make--it's another pattern from amy karol's awesome book, Bend-the-rules Sewing--and then plus i got to stitch (and rub-a-dub marker) some alice notley lines into fabric, it made me feel something. like poetry is slow food not fast food and that it is delicious.
